Live Boot GRUB/MBR Repair One-Click Fix

Overview

This tool is straightforward: boot it, and the Boot Repair app launches automatically. If it doesn’t, click the menu (like the Windows Start button on the bottom-left corner), start typing Boot Repair, then click the app to open it. Note: Boot-Repair-Disk may show a green or orange wallpaper—both are normal.

Quick Start:
  1. Boot with Boot-Repair-Disk.
  2. Choose your language.
  3. Connect to the internet if possible (rarely required, but helpful).
  4. Click Recommended repair.
  5. When finished, remove the USB and reboot. This fixes most GRUB/MBR/bootsector issues.

🛠️ Recommended Repair (one-click GRUB/MBR/bootsector fix)
  1. Boot with Boot-Repair-Disk.
  2. Choose your language.
  3. Connect to the internet if possible (some rare cases require it for package retrieval or logs upload).
  4. Open the Boot Repair app (auto-opens; if not, search Boot Repair from the menu).
  5. Click Recommended repair and follow the prompts.
  6. When finished, remove the USB and reboot from the internal drive.
Notes:
  • Works for many issues: broken GRUB after updates, overwritten MBR, incorrect boot flags, etc.
  • If BitLocker is used on Windows partitions, unlock from Windows later; Boot-Repair focuses on the bootloader, not file decryption.
📄 Generate Boot-Info Summary (for advanced diagnostics)
  1. Launch Boot Repair.
  2. Click Create a Boot-Info summary.
  3. If prompted, allow network access to upload an anonymous paste containing disk/boot configuration.
  4. Copy the generated URL and save it. It helps with advanced troubleshooting.
⚠️ Privacy tip: The summary includes partition tables and bootloader info (no personal file contents). Share only with trusted support.
