SQUASHFS error: Failed to read block

If you are getting an error looking like this or similar (the message varies on release & asks you to hit enter on some releases):

This is usually caused by the Linux USB flash drive used to install Linux getting unmounted by the system causing SQUASHFS errors as the system attempts to read the USB flash drive.

If you are getting such error(s):

• Turn off the computer
• Unplug the Linux USB Flash Drive
• Turn the computer back on
• If it won't boot to just installed Linux without the USB Flash Drive - turn the computer off again, plug in the Linux USB Flash Drive, then boot from it and try installing Linux again.
